5 Myths About Productivity
1 - Productivity is a matter of self discipline.
Your brain is a lot more complicated than that. You have all the self discipline you need to accomplish anything you want to - including working through the mentail roadblocks that keep getting in your way.
2 - I just need to work harder
Hard work is pointless if you’re not working on the right thing. You can get a lot farther by creating a roadmap and routine that you can follow.
3 - I’d get a lot more done if I weren’t so lazy
If you were lazy, you wouldn’t be at all concerned about your productivity.
4 - Maybe I just don’t have enough talent
Self doubt is just a part of the creative process - no matter what you’re creating. You know you could do better because you have good taste.
5 - I should just read a book and watch some YouTube videos
You’ve done that before and it didn't work. The coaching sessions in this program make all the difference. It’s not just about me keeping you accountable. Having a deadline (our call) for your learning and homework will keep you on track. Also, the coaching lets me suggest solutions that you can't see on your own.
About Me
John Gross
West Hollywood, CA
“I am happy to recommend, NO—Strike that—I strongly advise anyone who finds themselves overwhelmed, lost, or burdened with debilitating perfectionism to enlist the Accomplist system and the weekly coaching sessions from Jen Anderson.
Before working with Jen, I was three years into post-production on my first feature film. I thought I had everything organized in my mind, but when I pictured the amount of work that lay ahead of me, panic and dread would set in.
Who the hell is Jen Anderson, anyway? That’s a question I’ve asked myself many times.
I'm a Professional Imperfectionist and a productivity coach. Essentially, I’m not a hot mess - I’m an inspiration! My Why is helping people to stop beating themselves up. It took me a lot of years to get to that point (4th shrink’s the charm!), and I thrive on helping other people get there too
FAQs
When are you available for coaching sessions?
I live on the West Coast of the USA. My time zone is Pacific Standard Time (UTC−08:00). I prefer to schedule coaching sessions in the afternoon, but we can coordinate a time that works for both of us.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Since a big chunk of this program is digital, I’m unable to offer any refunds.
What if something happens and I can’t do 8 weeks in a row?
That isn’t ideal but life happens. We can pause the program and pick up later if necessary.
Can I do the program all at once?
No. You’d get overwhelmed and give up. You’ll receive one email a week with a link to the new material so you can absorb the information in manageable chunks.
Can I just buy the course without the coaching?
Not at this time. The coaching sessions provide much needed accountability and support.

8 30-minute coaching sessions - $800
Total Value - $1600
Today’s cost - $399
That’s a savings of over $1200.
Let’s do this thing!
Working through the Accomplist tutorials, and with Jen’s coaching skills, I was able to lay out clear goals and action plans to accomplish them. I was able to locate parts of the project that I should delegate to others. More importantly, I rediscovered the passion and enthusiasm that I had when I began making the film.
Today, using the map I made with Accomplist, I can focus on the next indicated tasks instead of worrying about something that is weeks away. I find myself more productive and less concerned about the end result. Accomplist gave me the confidence and faith to know that I’ll get there eventually.”
Spoiler alert! John’s documentary, Haunts Before Vegas is now finished and is being submitted to film festivals.
